Abstract
There is lot of upgrade in the technology of the automobile these days. Competition on the speed of vehicles going on in the market. But also this speed leads to accidents if vehicle don’t stop on time. Disc brakes in the vehicles give much better performance compare to drum to stop the vehicle also the heat generated during braking force can be easily dissipated as disc brakes are open to atmosphere. But the main problem is with the material used in the disc brakes in some vehicle. Manufacturers use disc of steel which have short life span and the weight is bulky near the tire. If disc loses its shape wobbling can caused near the tire causing a big problem. The main motto of this thesis is to improve the strength of the disc by taking various materials for analysis. The design has been taken from real world. Dimensions of Santro Xing car has been taken and plotted in three dimensions on solid works. Materials like Al-ni-co & titanium alloy has been selected for analysis to compare it with existing material. 3D model has been imported on analysis to analyze the stresses produced in the disc brake and to check the deformation occurred in the disc after applying the boundary conditions. After all the analysis comparison has been made and a result has been concluded for the best material with good strength.

Abstract
Im Zweijahresrhythmus werden Betreiber, Hersteller, Versicherer, Behörden und Experten des R&D-Bereiches vom VGB PowerTech e.V. dazu eingeladen, durch Vorträge und umfassende Diskussion aktueller Fragen zur Gasturbine und dem Gasturbinenbetrieb den Erfahrungs-, Erkenntnis- und Gedankenaustausch zu intensivieren.

Ziel dieser Fachtagung ist es einerseits, verfügbare Lösungen für einen wirtschaftlichen Gasturbinenbetrieb in einem extrem schwierigen Marktumfeld unter Berücksichtigung der Aspekte Verfügbarkeit, Zuverlässigkeit, Wirkungsgrad, Flexibilität und Lebensdauer aufzuzeigen. Andererseits sollen innovative Konzepte auf Bauteil-, Komponenten und Systemebene diskutiert werden, die helfen können, die für Gasturbinen seitens der Politik zugedachte Rolle zur zukünftigen Sicherstellung der Versorgungssicherheit in Deutschland und zur Stärkung der Kraft-Wärme-Kopplung auszufüllen.

Die Fachtagung richtet sich an Betreiber, Hersteller, Planer, Versicherer und alle an der Technik und deren Umfeld interessierte Fachleute, Forscher, Behörden- und Verbändevertreter.

In-factory Logistics Using Mobile Robots

Abstract
Autonomous mobile robots are expected to play an important role in modern factories. Mobile robots are complex cyber-physical systems that combine sensors, actuators as well as computing devices that enable them to reason about and interact with the environment. The ability of these systems to reason about their environment and to select a corresponding behavior poses new challenges for evaluation and certification. On the one hand, the autonomy of these systems expands their operational envelopment and makes them suitable for a broad area of applications. This course will give an introduction to the architecture of mobile transportation robots and will detail the main building blocks of these systems.

Participants will understand the potentials of a flexible material flow and how to build adaptive production systems using mobile robots. They will learn methods for planning transport orders, coordinating a fleet of mobile robots and planning collision-free and efficient paths. Finally, they will implement and test the methods using a fleet of mobile robots.
