The 2017 E-MRS Spring Meeting and Exhibit will be held in the extended and modernized Convention Centre of Strasbourg (France), from May 22 to 26, 2017. The conference will consist of 26 parallel symposia with invited speakers, oral and poster presentations and a plenary session to provide an international forum for discussing recent advances in the field of materials science. The conference will be augmented by an exhibition of products and services of interest to the conference participants. This will be an exciting event which should not be missed! Abstract
The aim of the workshop is to bring together scientists and engineers to discuss the latest trends in MOVPE. The special format of this workshop consists of eight invited plenary talks, plus four contributed poster presentations, and three short courses. The emphasis is on high quality plenary talks, and lots of time for discussion and exchanges of scientific ideas during the poster sessions.

The SAWtrain Summer School “Physics and applications of GHz vibrations in semiconductors” aims to provide an in-depth insight in this emerging field to young researchers at the PhD / Postdoctoral levels and beyond. The school program will combine fundamental lectures by leading experts together with specialized contributions reporting on the latest developments in the field. The school will take place from Jul 11 to Jul 21, 2017 at the Institut d'Études Scientifiques de Cargèse (IESC), Corsica, France and be organized within the European Marie Sklodowska Curie network SAWtrain.
