Open to anyone involved in or interested in learning about the clinical trials co-ordinated by the Colorectal Cancer Multidisciplinary Research Group. A chance for collaborators, investigators and their teams to meet and exchange ideas. Confirmed speakers are Prof Angelita Habr-Gama, University of Sao Paolo, Brazil, Prof Cathy Eng, MD Anderson, Texas, USA, Prof Iris Nagtegaal, RUMCA, Netherlands, Dr Rodrigo Perez, University of Sao Paolo, Brazil, Mr Graham Branagan, Salisbury, UK. The featured trials are: TRIGGER, IMPRESS, SERENADE, MERCURY II, MINSTREL, 6 vs 12, Beyond TME, ctDNA, Deferral of Surgery, SOPRANO. The previous two symposia attracted an international audience which comprised the spectrum of disciplines involved in clinical trials both clinical and administrative and feedback given was that they were extremely beneficial and enjoyable days.

Abstract
This event will cover important and difficult aspects of GI and HPB radiology. The morning session will focus on imaging of acutely unwell patients, covering difficult cases of bowel obstruction, GI bleeding and trauma, bowel ischaemia, imaging the post-operative abdomen and luminal/hepatobiliary intervention. The afternoon session will focus on the outpatient setting, covering MRI of focal liver lesions and diffuse liver diseases, tips and tricks for staging HPB malignancies, anal fistula MRI, pitfalls in CT colonography, and a debate on MRI vs ultrasound for small bowel imaging.
