Basic and clinical neuroscientists pioneering research into mental health disorders have much to learn from each other, but opportunities for interaction are limited. This meeting will bring these investigators together, highlighting commonalities in approach and facilitating dialogue between them, to aid in the development of new, fully translational models that will promote our understanding and treatment of mental health disorders. This event is intended for researchers in relevant fields and is free to attend. There are a limited number of places and registration is essential.

Chaired by Sean Duggan Chief Executive Mental Health Network and with an opening from Pete Morgan Chair PASAUK, this one day health and social care conference focuses on safeguarding vulnerable adults in mental health services. Through national updates and practical case studies the conference will update delegates on making safeguarding personal in mental health services, ensuring compliance with the Care Act, acting and escalating safeguarding concerns, training and educating frontline staff and ensuring effective partnership working.
