Der Deutsche Chirurgie Kongress ist jährlich mit rund 5.000 Besuchern das zentrale Forum der Chirurgie im deutschsprachigen Raum. Nach der Absage 2020, dem virtuellen Kongress in 2021 und hybriden Kongressen in 2022 und 2023 findet der 141. Deutsche Chirurgie Kongress wie in den letzten Jahren als Präsenz-Kongress mit einigen Online-Komponenten statt. Der seit 2021 jeweils erfolgreich durchgeführte DCK.digital, auf dem in Form von „Rapid Communication Sessions“ die ePoster vorgestellt und präsentiert werden, erwartet die Teilnehmenden auch beim kommenden DCK rein virtuell. Vom 24. – 26. April 2024 erwarten Sie beim DCK 2024 im Congress Center Leipzig ein facettenreiches Programm aus den verschiedenen Fachbereichen der Chirurgie.

La clinique du partenariat, entre chirurgiens et psychanalystes, consiste en ce que les différents cliniciens puissent œuvrer ensemble lorsque la maladie atteint l’organisme et que l’être occupe la position de malade. Là où l’intervention du chirurgien a pour objectif d'enrayer la maladie, celle du psychanalyste vise, dans un premier temps, à empêcher la libido de continuer à s’écouler dans la voie organique, et dans un second temps, à orienter la libido qui nourrit la maladie en l’engageant dans la voie symbolique par la parole.

Advancements in the field of neurosurgery are occurring at an increasingly rapid rate. The integration of these advances into clinical practice often lags behind the rate at which they emerge in the literature. Therefore, a critical appraisal of the most recent and most influential advances in the various fields of neurosurgery is necessary to effectively incorporate these advances into clinical practice. Thomas Jefferson University is a world leader in neurosurgical research and practice. Current faculty and alumni from its residency and fellowship training programs are often on the cutting edge of neurosurgery. In this hybrid CE event, we will highlight the latest advances in the field of neurosurgery and identify ways in which practitioners from all fields can improve their practice and optimize the care for their patients by effectively integrating these changes into this practice. In addition to the major topics of neurovascular disease, neurooncology, complex spinal surgery, brain computer interface , neuroimaging, and functional neurosurgery, we will also discuss how to evaluate one’s practice, improve patient safety, and limit medical errors using quality improvement tools. All practitioners who take care of patients with neurological illness could benefit from this event, including neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuro-intensivists, neuroradiologist, anesthesiologist, nurses, physician assistants, and practitioners who might refer patients for neurosurgical care.

Inzwischen sind elf Jahre vergangen, seitdem die Jahrestagung der Gesellschaft das letzte Mal in Tübingen stattgefunden hat – eine Zeitspanne, in der sich in der Dermatologie und Dermatochirurgie viel verändert und entwickelt hat. Besonders hervorzuheben ist im Bereich der Dermatochirurgie die Zunahme der Hauttumore über die letzten Jahrzehnte: eine Entwicklung, die in den nächsten Jahren wohl weiter bestehen bleiben wird. Für die Versorgung unserer Patientinnen und Patienten auf höchsten Niveau auch in der Zukunft ist daher eine fundierte und breite Ausbildung in der Dermatochirurgie unerlässlich. Diese beiden zentralen Themen sind auch Schwerpunkte der Tagung gewidmet. Neben grundlegenden dermatochirurgischen Themen wie Verschlusstechniken, Lappenplastiken und Operationsplanung wird auch eine interdisziplinäre Sitzung zur Dermatoonkologie stattfinden. Außerdem soll jungen Kolleginnen und Kollegen die Möglichkeit gegeben werden, sich in die Dermatochirurgie einzuarbeiten: dies spiegelt sich im Programm sowohl in Workshops und Kursen, aber auch einer eigenen Sitzung wider.

Das Fach Thoraxchirurgie entwickelt sich in jüngster Zeit rasant weiter: Sowohl technisch in den OP-Sälen als auch strukturell an den Klinikstandorten. Diese Entwicklungen fordern uns alle heraus und sie verändern unseren Arbeitsalltag.
