SPAD 2017 — Special Pathogens and Associated Disease conference
27 Apr 2017 - 29 Apr 2017
Africa have not yet recovered from the epidemic caused by the big three disease HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria and yet emerging and re-emerging disease pathogens such as Ebola, Nodding disease, ZIKA, SARS, and others are advancing their strategy to devastate and kill its victims. To be in control, we must be able to pilot and develop a system that can mobilize a competent team to predict and respond to any outbreak in any African region. This will help to prevent a repeat of the scale of death by Ebola in West Africa. This conference therefore will bring together the best brains in Africa and our friends from other continents to discuss the way forward with respect to resource mobilization capacity building and so on.
