Abstract
Participants from about 50 countries, including chest radiologists and other health professionals involved in thoracic imaging, will share their knowledge in chest diseases and discuss new scientific findings and advances in imaging techniques. There will also be presentations of guidelines and recommendations for appropriate practice in chest imaging. The WCTI scientific program will cover topics such as lung cancer screening, pulmonary embolism and drug-induced lung diseases. Possibilities in radiation dose reduction, especially in pediatric thoracic imaging, will be discussed, as well as the fields of chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD), asthma, infection, and coronary and cardiovascular diseases.New developments in interventional radiology, positron emission tomography (PET), X-ray computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) will top up the congress.

The International Skeletal Society invites you to its 44th Annual Meeting and Imaging Update Course (Refresher Course) to be held at the New York Hilton Midtown located in the heart of New York City. The program brings together world renowned thought leaders to share their expertise in a variety of formats including didactic lectures, rapid-fire presentations and panel discussions. Based on needs-assessments and comments from attendees at prior ISS courses, the Refresher Course committee has put together a comprehensive, multimodality program consisting of two parallel programs; “Sports Injuries” and “Musculoskeletal Diseases”. Delegates are encouraged to move freely between the two programs to maximize their areas of interest.

Being held December 3-7, 2017 at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida, “National Diagnostic Imaging Symposium” is an annual conference that has built a solid reputation among radiologists for its practical yet forward-thinking curriculum, as well as the high caliber of its faculty. This conference is designed to improve the medical knowledge and skills of community radiologists who are called on to be well-versed in a variety of radiology sub-specialties and body systems. The course will focus on emerging medical techniques, information and technologies, current medicine, as well as review of best practices in the field of radiology. The program features simultaneous presentations covering ten subspecialties including Musculoskeletal Imaging, Breast Imaging, Breast MRI, Gastrointestinal Radiology, Emergency Radiology, Genitourinary Radiology, Cardiovascular Radiology, Chest Radiology, and Neuroradiology. One full day is dedicated to each modality and up to 35 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ are available. Additionally, 26 Self-Assessment Modules (SAMs) will be offered. This meeting has also been expanded to serve the needs of certain radiology specialists. We now offer an optional 5-day Breast Imaging track that will allow participants to receive up to 35 breast-imaging specific credits. The Cancer Imaging and Therapy conference will focus on optical methods in cancer, centered on imaging and treatment of cancer. The conference will accept submissions on topics on the molecular and cellular level, such as reporters and theranostics; on the tissue and pre-clinical (animal) level, such as pathology methods and advances in imaging of tumor models; and on human tissue and living human subjects, when specifically dealing with cancer. More generic biomedical optics and biophotonics research involving human tissues or living human subjects should be submitted to the Clinical and Translational Biophotonics conference at this congress.
