Penn Radiology's Pearls, Pitfalls, and Protocols: Spring Imaging Update

Abstract:
This program will focus on practical imaging issues to improve image interpretation across a wide range of common and uncommon clinical scenarios. Novel and cutting-edge imaging ‘protocols’ will be discussed highlighting potential ‘pitfalls.’ Selected topics in neuroradiology, abdominal, breast, thoracic, musculoskeletal and pediatric radiology will be covered. There will be daily case conferences emphasizing ‘misses and misinterpretations’ with an opportunity to earn 20 SAM credits (80% of the ABR requirement for three years).

Our five-day summer seminar returns in 2020 to Martha's Vineyard. This program is designed to educate radiologists who perform and interpret imaging examinations. Lectures will offer interpretation advice and practical tips in the areas of thoracic, abdominal, and neuroradiology. This year, guest speaker Dr. Elliot Fishman from Johns Hopkins Medicine, will team-up with our Penn Faculty for new and exceptional lectures in body CT.
