The inaugural edition of the Smart Grid Innovation conference will draw together innovation directors and managers to review 14+ utility innovation case-studies from leading TSOs and DSOs. Discussions will focus on the best practice for delivering innovation, creating technology roadmaps, working with suppliers, academia and consultants, calculating ROI as well as how to ensure that all your innovation activities deliver the best possible value to the business. Alongside the case-study programme, there is a chief innovation officer strategy panel session, a technology innovation panel discussion, intimate end-user round table debates, a live demo lab of the latest systems and solutions, and an evening networking reception open to all participants.

The 2nd annual Grid Asset Management 2020 conference, exhibition and networking forum will bring together leading smart utility asset management leaders from across Europe for an intensive review of the latest asset management case studies. The 7th annual IEC 61850 Global 2020 conference will draw together 150+ leading specialists for 5 days of IEC 61850 implementation reviews. This end-user focused event will showcase 20+ utility implementations of the standard within the substation, across the wider smart grid, and across DER infrastructure. The event will kick off with a one-day workshop on the Fundamentals of IEC 61850 delivered by Christoph Brunner, President of it4power and Convenor of TC57 WG10. The next three days will deliver a series of utility case-studies, with the fifth and final day deep diving into the application of IEC 61850 in the DER domain. Alongside the main conference is a 3-day exhibition displaying 20+ suppliers of the most advanced IEC 61850 enabled tools and technologies, as well as a number of Live Demo Labs providing the opportunity to get hands on with the most innovative solutions. Facilitated networking sessions take place throughout the conference and most notably during the tech innovation panel discussions, the end-user focused roundtable sessions, and the networking evening reception open to all participants.
