Simons Laufer Mathematical Sciences Institute (SLMath)

ADJOINT is a yearlong program that provides opportunities for U.S. mathematicians – especially those from the African Diaspora – to conduct collaborative research on topics at the forefront of mathematical and statistical research. Participants will spend two weeks taking part in an intensive collaborative summer session at SLMath (formerly MSRI). The two-week summer session for ADJOINT 2024 will take place June 24 to July 5, 2024 in Berkeley, California.

Institute for Computational and Experimental Research in Mathematics (ICERM)

The goal of this two-week research and professional development workshop is to support the retention and success of junior and mid-career computational mathematicians who are from groups that are underrepresented in the field. Participants will forge strong collaborations in mentored research groups and engage in professional development via no-lead learning communities. The larger goal of the workshop is to form a positive, diverse community of researchers who are committed to supporting each other’s professional and scholarly growth. This research collaborative effort is run in collaboration with the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics which will provide support for sustained interaction and collaboration even beyond the two-week workshop.

The Cape Verde International Days on Mathematics 2024 (CVIM'2024) will take place at University of Cape Verde, in the new university campus (zona K, Palmarejo Grande, Praia), from September 2nd to 6th 2024. The conference is the fifth in the conference series "The Cape Verde International Days on Mathematics" organized by the University of Cape Verde, Cape Verde, and the University of Aveiro, Portugal.
