The combined 25th IEEE Pulsed Power Conference (PPC) and the 52nd IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (ICOPS) will be held June 15-20, 2025 in Berlin, Germany. The joint association of these two conferences (PPC & ICOPS) will cover the traditional plasma science and engineering topics of the ICOPS Conference and pulsed power science and technology of the Pulsed Power Conference. In addition to the conference, a workshop on pulsed power for fusion will be offered, inviting representatives from industry, fusion companies, national laboratories, and academia to discuss current, mid-term and far-term needs for fusion applications.

This school is the 62nd in the series organized at the Culham Campus in Oxfordshire, a leading site for research in plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion carried out under the auspices of the UK Atomic Energy Authority. The aim of the Summer School is to provide an introduction to the fundamental principles of plasma physics, together with a broad understanding of its fields of application. We assume no previous knowledge of the subject, but familiarity with electromagnetism and applied mathematics at first degree level will be helpful.

The International Vacuum Congress is IUVSTA’s (the International Union of Vacuum Science, Technique, and Application) main meeting that has been held every three years (more or less) since 1959! The meeting see’s around 1200-1500 participants and has a vibrant exhibition of around 80-120 vendors. It brings together the entire community of scientists, engineers, teachers, sales people, industrialists that work in areas that are connected directly with, or are heavily influenced by, the science and technology of vacuum. The meeting has become a hub and celebration of the enabling of modern technology, from medical and food technologies and science, through to quantum computing, and space flight (for example current plasma thrusters for deep space flight). The congress can be seen therefore as the thread that pulls together some of the most important scientific developments and many of the exciting technologies being worked on in Australia and abroad.

ISFNT is one of the main international events for the nuclear fusion field and offers an outstanding opportunity for the fusion community to meet, discuss new ways to address complex problems, and find advanced solutions in nuclear fusion technologies. The symposium covers both near-term fusion devices and long-term reactor fusion nuclear science and technologies. Contributions related to science, engineering, facilities, experiments, modeling, analysis, design, and safety are encouraged to be presented at ISFNT.

It was originally founded for the presentation of results of the Institute of Plasma Physics of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciences (IPP CAS) in 1967. Since 1969 it has gradually become a Czechoslovak forum in this branch and many famous foreign scientists have made presentations. Since 1993 it has been held in co-operation with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University (FEE CTU) in Prague. Since 2000 the SPPT participants had the possibility to offer their original papers based on the SPPT contributions for publication in various journals. Your abstracts (without review) and full papers (after review) are published in Plasma Physics and Technology journal, indexed by Scopus. The symposium participants are from all over the world. There will be about 150-200 participants.
