ICNC 2023 — 12th International Conference on Nuclear Criticality Safety
01 oct 2023 - 06 oct 2023 • Miyagi, Japon
Organisateur:
Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and Japan Atomic Energy Agency, Nuclear Safety Research Center
Résumé:
The 12th International Conference on Nuclear Criticality Safety (ICNC) will be held in Sendai, Japan on 1-6 October 2023. Twenty years after the last conference in Japan, which was held in Tokai-mura as the 7th ICNC, Japanese criticality safety community will host the ICNC again. Organised in co-operation with the NEA, the ICNC takes place every 4 years and brings together researchers, engineers, nuclear power plant operators, students and regulators working in the field of criticality safety.

TAN 23 — 7th International Conference on the Chemistry and Physics of the Transactinide Elements
12 nov 2023 - 17 nov 2023 • Huizhou, Chine
Organisateur:
The TAN 23 is organized by Institute of Modern Physics (IMP), Chinese Academy Sciences and Advanced Energy Science and Technology Guangdong Laboratory
Résumé:
The TAN 23 is the seventh in the series of international conferences dedicated to recent achievements and developments in experiments and theory of the chemistry and physics of transactinide elements.

The conference will take place in Huizhou, a beautiful city of Guangdong province of southeast China. At the present, Institute of Modern Physics is constructing two large-scale scientific facilities in Huizhou, High Intensity Heavy-ion Accelerator Facility (HIAF) and China initiative Accelerator Driven System (CiADS). The new facilities will enable scientists to continue to push the frontiers of science and technology, for the benefit of all. The scientific program of this conference will cover experimental and theoretical aspects of synthesis of the superheavy elements, nuclear reactions, nuclear structure, chemistry, atomic properties, and related topics.

23rd Zimányi School Winter Workshop
04 dec 2023 - 08 dec 2023 • Budapest, Hongrie
Résumé:
We would like to invite you to participate in this year's Zimányi School Winter Workshop that aims to summarize the developments of 2023 in high energy heavy ion physics, with particular attention to the new data emerging from the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC) and the Large Hadron Collider (LHC), SPS and J-PARC. We will discuss results from other high energy nuclear and particle physics facilities of the world, most importantly lower energy colliders, exploring the nuclear phase diagram (with special attention to FAIR and NICA). Another important point of the School is to discuss important new results in hydrodynamics, flow and femtoscopy. One of the main aims of the School is to encourage interaction between the theoretical and experimental community.
