Electroanalysis has undergone an impressive evolution in the past few decades, becoming a relevant research field that plays a key role in various disciplines, ranging from life sciences to materials science, from fundamental knowledge to applications. The conference aims to bring together scientists from Europe and many other parts of the world to promote international discussions and networking on various topics of modern electroanalytical chemistry.

The 13th ISMC will be a conference suitable for all chemistry school teachers, school science technicians, academics, and educational professionals, and including teacher trainers. By sharing challenges, solutions, and support, a professional network could collectively shape practical learning in schools and benefit educators worldwide. The conference will help not only connect those professionals but also provide the continued professional development, which will also enable science teachers to strengthen their knowledge, skills, and confidence, improving teaching and what follows student’s engagement.

Brazilian Chemical Society

Since 1998, the Brazilian Meeting on Inorganic Chemistry (BMIC) has been a biennial international scientific conference and a key event of the Brazilian Chemical Society. The conference has steadily grown, bringing together participants from academia and industry. This growth reflects the event's significance in fostering collaboration, showcasing cutting-edge research, and addressing critical challenges in the field of inorganic chemistry and related fields.

Since 2006, the BMIC has been held in conjunction with the Brazilian Meeting on Rare Earths (BMRE), which brings together researchers and students from the disciplines of inorganic chemistry, materials chemistry, rare earth chemistry, and physics. In 2018, the conference expanded its reach by incorporating the Workshop on Theoretical Bioinorganic Chemistry (WTBC), a forum dedicated to the computational modeling of bioinorganic systems and processes.

Superheavy nuclei occupy the extremely high-Z edge of the Segré chart, and superheavy elements form the limit of the periodic table. The physics and chemistry of superheavy elements are cutting-edge areas of research in nuclear science today. Understanding the properties of the heaviest nuclei through studies of nuclear reaction mechanisms and decay properties using innovative experimental techniques and novel theoretical approaches will help us answer fundamental questions about the nucleon-nucleon interaction, the creation of chemical elements in the universe, and the limits of nuclear stability. In this workshop, senior and junior researchers will critically assess recent advances in superheavy element research and the challenges hindering further progress to identify the best pathways to push our knowledge beyond current frontiers.
