Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG)

GEM 2024 Shenzhen will be a platform for industry professionals, government agencies, and academics to showcase the latest technological and methodological advancements in potential field and electromagnetic geophysics, and their applications to addressing the grand challenges posed by energy transition and climate change. Additionally, it will foster discussions on the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for geophysicists.

GeoShanghai is a series of international conferences on geotechnical engineering held in Shanghai quadrennially. The conference was inaugurated in 2006 and was successfully held in 2010, 2014 and 2018, with more than 1600 participants in total. Since the last conference, the geotechnical community have witnessed many advances both in fundamental understandings and engineering practices. To demonstrate the latest developments and promote collaborations in geotechnical engineering and related fields, we launch the 5th GeoShanghai International Conference to be held in May 2024. We sincerely invite you to join in this long-anticipated grand event! Shanghai is a unique cosmopolitan city where traditional Chinese culture has been blended seamlessly into those from all over the world. The geotechnical and underground engineering in Shanghai is under rapid development (e.g., deep excavation of more than 80 m for drainage tunnel). We look forward to welcoming you in Shanghai!

The 11th International Symposium of Geotechnical Aspects of Underground Construction in Soft Ground (IS-Macau 2024) will be held in Macao SAR, China on June 14 17, 2024. It is organized by the State Key Laboratory of IoT for Smart City (IoTSC) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Macau and TC204 of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE).
