The Meeting is dedicated to interventional cardiologists with special interest to complex coronary interventions and CTO-PCIs, with particular focus on technical and practical aspects of the procedure. International experts will be performing 10 live cases from the cathlabs of Klinikum Fürth. The course is practically-oriented and state-of-the art presentations will take place in parallel with the live case transmission. Special sessions will be dedicated to complication-management, practical tips & tricks, innovations and new tools and materials for CHIP & CTO interventions.

Our program provides a comprehensive overview of LAA closure, including imaging, transseptal and pericardial access, step-by-step cases, management of complications, live cases, and an overview of the most commonly used as well as of new and upcoming devices for LAA closure. We will also discuss atrial fibrillation ablation strategies like pulmonary vein ablation before, after or at the same time as LAA closure. Recent data suggests that ablation of the left atrial appendage may lead to increased success rate of AF ablation and there are new devices which combine LAA ablation and LAA closure. Live cases will also be a key part of the learning experience.

After last year's success, we are also bringing back the popular feature - a cardiac catheterization laboratory experience on live animals. Attendees will be able to perform interventional procedures in swine under the guidance of world class faculty. Our ever popular cathlab café sessions will give attendees and faculty the chance to share and discuss their most interesting cases in an informal setting.

The International Dead Sea Symposium (IDSS) on Cardiac Arrhythmias and Heart Failure has been held in Israel since 1992. Their mission is to make Israel one of the leading countries in innovative electrophysiology. The International Program Committee is currently preparing a multidisciplinary scientific program for professionals in all disciplines of arrhythmia: electrophysiologists, clinical cardiologists, internists, for physicians working in sport medicine and family physicians, as well as entrepreneurs, start-up and more mature innovative companies, scientists, biomedical engineers, and the industry. The meeting will commence with a full day of workshops and mini courses on cardiac anatomy, ECG, conduction system pacing, LAA closure, S- ICD, lead extractions -a unique opportunity to learn and practice how to, HF management by CIED (CRT, conduction system pacing, LVAD), complex mapping and ablation procedures. It will continue with a two-day conference focusing on current approaches to treat cardiac arrhythmias, emphasizing the impact of novel technologies on current and future therapies intended to save hearts and lives. Traditionally, a full day program of both pediatric and sport arrhythmology will be included, as well as a workshop designed for nurses and technicians working in pacing, EP, and cardiac care units.
