Mathematical models play a vital role in understanding complex biological systems. However, these systems are often characterized by indirectly and partially observed, noisy, and high-dimensional dynamics and data. Current models often fail to adequately account for the various sources of uncertainty within the data, leading to inaccurate or incomplete models with limited explanatory power. The field of uncertainty quantification (UQ) offers approaches to address these challenges.

The Mathematical Biology Research Centre (MBRC) in Nepal, a formally registered research institute and Central Department of Mathematics, Tribhuvan University, to host the International Conference on Mathematical Biology (ICMB-2025) in Pokhara, Nepal, from June 12 to 14, 2025. Under the theme "Quantitative Modeling and Computation in Life Sciences and Medicine," the conference will serve as a platform for a diverse community of scientists dedicated to applying mathematics to life and health sciences. ICMB-2025 aims to showcase the event's multidisciplinary nature by uniting scholars from various fields, with a primary focus on the application of mathematical principles to biological research. The conference seeks to gather research scholars from a range of disciplines across Southeast Asia and the globe.

The annual international conference on Mathematical Methods and Models in Biosciences (Biomath) will take place from 15 June to 20 June 2025 at the campus of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics (IMI) and the Institute of Mechanics. Biomath 2025 is devoted to recent research in life sciences based on applications of mathematics as well as mathematics applied to or motivated by biological studies. It is a multidisciplinary meeting forum for researchers who develop and apply mathematical and computational tools to the study of phenomena in the broad fields of biology, ecology, medicine, biophysics, biochemistry, pharmacokinetics, chemoinformatics, biotechnology, bioengineering, environmental science, etc.

Early-onset cancers are rising globally. Cancers typically associated with those over the age of 50 are increasingly being diagnosed in young adults. How to prevent and treat these tumours is still unknown. This conference aims to foster a deeper understanding of the biological mechanisms, risk factors, and clinical implications of early-onset cancers. By bringing together leading experts from diverse fields in cancer research, the meeting will provide a unique platform to discuss the latest discoveries about early-onset cancers, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and identifying strategies for early detection, prevention, and treatment. Special attention will be given to knowledge gaps, translational studies and healthcare disparities, and towards improving the clinical management of early-onset cancer patients. The target audience for this conference is researchers and physicians who are interested in the epidemiology and aetiology of sporadic cancers among younger adults to discuss key questions in the field and lay the foundations for generating a community dedicated to the study of early-onset cancers.
