This 5-day training course will be taught in English by a member of the SCALE development team from Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) in collaboration with a NEA highly-experienced Senior Scientist, former SCALE/ORIGEN training instructor at ORNL.

The NEA is organising a workshop on initial estimation of back-end costs for small modular reactors (SMRs) and Generation IV technologies. This topic has gained significant attention within both the Committee for Decommissioning and Legacy Management (CDLM) and Radioactive Waste Management Committee (RWMC), reflecting a growing interest from NEA Member Countries. The CDLM Expert Group on Costing for Decommissioning of Nuclear Installations and Legacy Management (EGCDL) is responsible for the organisation of the event.

This 4.5 day training course will be taught in English by the MCNP development team, from the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

This 4.5 day intermediate class is designed for people who have some experience in running MCNP Monte Carlo calculations, but would like to refresh or advance their skills.

This 4.5 day training course will be taught in English by the MCNP development team, from the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL).

This class introduces the unstructured mesh capability in MCNP6 and the Attila4MC problem-setup Graphical User Interface (GUI) from Silver Fir Software and then proceeds with advanced topics. In this class, the participant will learn how to take 3-D geometries developed using CAD software, import these CAD geometries into Attila4MC, mesh the geometry, setup the entire MCNP6 input file with the GUI, and run the calculation using the MCNP6 unstructured mesh capability.
