The Symposium is organised under the auspices of the Gas Kinetics Interest Group of the Royal Society of Chemistry.

The Symposium provides an open forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest experimental and theoretical research on a wide range of topics related to gas phase chemical kinetics. This has been expanded over recent years to cover all aspects of atmospheric and combustion chemistry, as well as astrochemistry and planetary atmospheres, with an increasing role for kinetics of heterogeneous and surface chemistry.

The National Conference for Science Technicians (NCST) celebrates technical staff and their vital contribution to the sciences, as well as the Technician Commitment. Bringing together attendees from across the chemical sciences, the conference offers the opportunity to hear about how you can broaden your career and encourage the next generation of technicians. You’ll also be able to network with colleagues and hear from inspirational speakers. The conference is free to attend and open to chemical science and physics technicians in any sector, and you don’t have to be a member of a professional body to attend.

Fachübergreifende Veranstaltungen für Physiker,    Öffentliche Vorträge und Öffentlichkeitsarbeit

MICRA brings together researchers working across the field of inorganic chemistry. Attendees are expected to be at an early stage in their career. This includes early career academics, independent research fellows and experienced postdoctoral researchers. All attendees are encouraged to give short presentations on their work in order to introduce themselves to the community and potentially inspire new collaborations. The meeting is a great opportunity to get to know the early career researchers across the UK working in inorganic chemistry.
