The National Power Electronics Conference (NPEC 2023) is a biennial conference of Power Electronics forum in India. The 11th edition of this prestigious conference (NPEC 2023) is to be held at Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati. It would be a proud moment for IIT Guwahati to organize this conference which will be a formal get-together for the power electronics community. It features extensive exposition on Power Electronics through (1) Plenary talks, (2) Panel discussions, (3) Tutorials and (4) Paper Presentations. This NPEC 2023 will be a launch pad for many researchers to exhibit the influence of Power Electronics on various applications viz. industry, domestic, commercial, mobility and electric utility systems.

The conference theme is “Power Electronics and Renewable Energy for Sustainable Development“. The Conference focuses on the latest technologies, strategies and challenges faced by power electronic systems, electric drives, renewable energy resources integration, and the interconnection to modern power systems, and operation in the smart grid for a better, smarter and more environment-friendly power system. Focus areas of the conference are Power Electronic Converters, Control Systems, Smart Grid Technology, Renewable Energy Resources, Distributed Generation and Grid Interconnection, Electric Vehicles, Energy storage & battery charging techniques, FACTS & Custom power.
