The IMA Conference on the Mathematics of Finance and Insurance brings together academics and practitioners to explore the latest advances in mathematical approaches to finance and insurance. The event fosters dialogue between the closely connected fields of mathematical finance and actuarial science, creating opportunities for the exchange of ideas and the development of innovative solutions.

While there have been significant efforts to understand different financial risks in the face of the climate emergency, only recently these have been made to understand how these risks are interconnected. This workshop aims to bring together leading Canadian and international researchers working on climate risk, credit risk, and financial contagion to focus on these crucial topics. Another important goal of the event is to provide a venue for interdisciplinary dialogue between climate scientists, financial mathematicians, economists and data scientists. Although their areas of application differ, the methodologies they use often share a common foundation in probabilistic modelling, simulation-based methods, and modern machine learning techniques. By bringing together researchers with complementary expertise, the workshop seeks to promote new collaborations and spark novel research directions. We invite original presentations on broad themes of climate risk, credit risk and financial contagion.

The Bachelier World Congress is the main event of the Bachelier Finance Society. It is held every two years and started out in the year 2000.

Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory (SAET)

The SAET has appointed the Department of Economics and Statistics of the University Federico II of Naples ( DiSES ) and the Associazione per lo Sviluppo di Teoria Economica, Matematica e Applicazioni ( ASTEMA ) to organize the Conference. The purpose of the SAET is to advance knowledge in theoretical economics and to facilitate communication among researchers in economics, mathematics, game theory, or any other field which is potentially useful to economic theory. In that, SAET shares common purposes with ASTEMA and covers a substantial part of the scientific interests of DISES.
