The Origin of Maxwell's Equations
12 May 2021 • University of Worcester or online, United Kingdom
Organised by IOP West Midlands Branch, Hereford & Worcester Centre
Maxwell's discovery of the laws of electromagnetism represents one of the key events in the history of physics, resulting in a paradigm shift from Newtonian physics to a Universe dominated by fields. Maxwell's discovery provides the link between the physics of Newton and Einstein. The revolutionary nature of Maxwell's insights will be highlighted. This event may also be delivered as an online webinar. If necessary due to Coronavirus or venue restrictions it will be an online webinar only.
2nd IMA Conference on Mathematics of Robotics
