EMBO | EMBL Symposium: Microtubules: From Atoms to Complex Systems
03 jui 2020 - 06 jui 2020 • Heidelberg, Allemagne
Résumé:
In recent years, interdisciplinary approaches embracing cell biology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, biophysics, structural biology and mathematical modelling have made a tremendous impact on the microtubule field. The progressive diversification of the microtubule field into subdomains has created the need for a strong meeting that unifies the community and brings together researchers from different disciplines interested in microtubule research.

FSA2020 — Function Spaces and Applications
29 sep 2020 - 06 oct 2020 • Apolda, Allemagne
Organisateur:
Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science
Résumé:
The aim of the conference is to concentrate on new developments and results in the theory of function spaces and its applications. The conference has two preceding events. First, it will continue the conference 'New perspectives in the theory of function spaces and their applications' (NPFSA-2017) held in September 2017 in Będlewo (Poland). Secondly, it is part of a joint Chinese-German researchproject in the theory of function spaces. In that sense our conference succeeds the 'International Conference on Function Spaces and Geometric Analysis and their Applications' held at the Nankai University, Tianjin (China) in October 2019.

Workshop on stochastic geometry and communications
02 nov 2020 - 04 nov 2020 • Berlin, Allemagne
Résumé:
In the last decades, the theory of point processes, random tessellations, random graphs and stochastic dynamics has been applied very successfully to problems in many kinds of communication systems. Examples are numerous and range from data propagation, device-to-device networks to typical communication cells, and much more. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers from different subfields of stochastic geometry and related research areas who are interested in applications in communication networks.
