YMSGR2020 — YOUNG MATHEMATICIANS SYMPOSIUM OF THE GREATER REGION 2020
14 Sep 2020 - 16 Sep 2020 • Kaiserslautern, Germany
Organizer:
Technical University Kaiserslautern
Abstract:
The Young Mathematicians Symposium of the Greater Region is a friendly and inspiring meeting of PhD students and young researchers of mathematics from all universities of the Greater Region. In 2020 it will be hosted by Technische Universitaet Kaiserslautern (Germany), after the preceding editions took place in Nancy (France) and Liége (Belgium). The conference is open to master and PhD students as well as postdoctoral researchers from all mathematical fields. We invite you to come, expose your research and discuss about the research of others. However, please note that the presentations are still intended to be accessible to Master students. Participants are encouraged to submit and present own results (even work containing open problems). Registration is free.

FSA2020 — Function Spaces and Applications
29 Sep 2020 - 06 Oct 2020 • Apolda, Germany
Organizer:
Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science
Abstract:
The aim of the conference is to concentrate on new developments and results in the theory of function spaces and its applications. The conference has two preceding events. First, it will continue the conference 'New perspectives in the theory of function spaces and their applications' (NPFSA-2017) held in September 2017 in Będlewo (Poland). Secondly, it is part of a joint Chinese-German researchproject in the theory of function spaces. In that sense our conference succeeds the 'International Conference on Function Spaces and Geometric Analysis and their Applications' held at the Nankai University, Tianjin (China) in October 2019.

Workshop on stochastic geometry and communications
02 Nov 2020 - 04 Nov 2020 • Berlin, Germany
Abstract:
In the last decades, the theory of point processes, random tessellations, random graphs and stochastic dynamics has been applied very successfully to problems in many kinds of communication systems. Examples are numerous and range from data propagation, device-to-device networks to typical communication cells, and much more. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers from different subfields of stochastic geometry and related research areas who are interested in applications in communication networks.
