The ASME PVP Bolted Joint Reliability Symposium (BJRS) promotes knowledge sharing, technological progress and international co-operation for advancing sealing technology for the oil and gas, aeronautical, automotive and nuclear industries. The presentations will disseminate the scientific and real-world knowledge in the area of sealing, including current and future design rules for bolted flange connections based on tightness (ASME SWG-BJ, EN1591), modern flange assembly guidelines and best practices (ASME PCC-1), gasket selection and assembly for obtaining desired performance/reliability (Example LDAR), and sharing of Lessons-Learned and Best Practices of critical applications including hydrogen technology.

State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission for Advanced Equipment in China

In recent years, to meet the escalating demands of modern industry and society, the mechanical transmission technology has been making continual progress and getting new achievements in design theories, advanced materials, processing and evaluation techniques. Currently, new applications such as large megawatt wind turbines, new energy vehicles, all electrical equipment, etc., and increasingly stringent environmental protection requirements poses significant challenges to mechanical transmission. Meanwhile, the emergence of cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and digital twins bring new revolution to the mechanical transmission. Therefore, State Key Laboratory of Mechanical Transmission for Advanced Equipment in China is organizing the International Conference on Mechanical Transmission (ICMT 2025), which offers a shared platform for scientists, manufacturers and users, to discuss and present trends and innovations in mechanical transmission. On behalf of the Organization of ICMT 2025, we are delighted to invite academic researchers and industrial engineers from all around the world to participate in this event, scheduled for 17-20 April 2025, in Chongqing, China. The International Conference on Structural Engineering Dynamics (ICEDyn 2025) has the objective of bringing together various subjects that may be understood as part of a whole big area of Structural Engineering Dynamics. It is indeed a vast area, which comprehends not only Mechanical Engineering but also Civil, Aeronautical and other akin disciplines. All subjects are welcome within this big umbrella, although the organisers would like to give relevance to some topics in particular, to orient the possible attendees and provide some guidelines. In what structural dynamics is concerned, the main topics considered here have to do with experimental and operational modal analysis and testing, validation and updating of numerical models, new developments in experimental techniques, modelling of damping, structural health monitoring, substructuring, active control, smart materials, nonlinear dynamics, railway dynamics, rotating machinery and vibro-acoustics. It is anticipated that the conference will appeal to a very wide range of disciplines, from aeronautical and civil engineering structures to all forms of machinery. The organisers expect that the conference may be run in two or at most three parallel sections to avoid dispersion and help congregating people to fruitful and nice interactive discussions.
