The MRC Versus Arthritis Centre for Musculoskeletal Health and Work: an overview of current research

Abstract:
The MRC /Versus Arthritis Centre for Musculoskeletal Health and Work was established in 2014 and is currently in its second 5-year period of funding. It was established to address major research questions to minimise the adverse impacts of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) in the workplace with benefits for patients, workers, employers and society at large. Our programme of work relates to three contexts: the workplace, healthcare settings and public health. In addition across settings we focus on work outcome measures, making the business case to employers and translating research into policy. This seminar will provide an overview of research currently underway.
