Das MAC war schon immer eine Plattform für robuste Diskussionen, und ich bin stolz darauf, Ihnen mitteilen zu können, dass diese Tradition fortgesetzt wird.

Das Symposium wird ein umfassendes Spektrum von Gefäßerkrankungen abdecken und Klinikern und Forschern die Möglichkeit bieten, gegenseitig von der Fülle des ausgetauschten Wissens zu profitieren. Die wissenschaftliche Fakultät für das 13. MAC wird sich aus erstklassigen Rednern und wichtigen Meinungsführern auf dem Gebiet der arteriellen und venösen Erkrankungen sowie Experten für künstliche Intelligenz und digitale Gefäßmedizin zusammensetzen. Unser Fokus wird kritische Aspekte der endovaskulären, offenen Chirurgie und die besten medizinischen Behandlungsmöglichkeiten für vaskuläre Patienten umfassen.

CSI Focus D-HF (Device therapies in heart failure) provides a comprehensive overview of device-based therapy in heart failure, including advancements in ventricle restoration strategies, device based strategies to improve cardiac output, monitoring systems, and other cutting edge technologies and emerging platforms in this new field.

Our program provides a comprehensive overview of LAA closure, including imaging, transseptal and pericardial access, step-by-step cases, management of complications, live cases, and an overview of the most commonly used as well as of new and upcoming devices for LAA closure. We will also discuss atrial fibrillation ablation strategies like pulmonary vein ablation before, after or at the same time as LAA closure. Recent data suggests that ablation of the left atrial appendage may lead to increased success rate of AF ablation and there are new devices which combine LAA ablation and LAA closure. Live cases will also be a key part of the learning experience.
