The DE-DS conference section invites researchers to submit their papers encompassing a wide array of topics within the digital economy and digital society domains. This includes exploring digital economy megatrends, data monetization strategies, and the dynamics of the platform economy and augmented reality and virtual reality applications. Furthermore, the section encourages research on addressing economic and sustainability challenges in the digital transformation era and developing sustainable business models in the digital age. It also welcomes investigations into digital marketing innovations and the opportunities and challenges presented by the rise of the gig economy in the digital business landscape. The section provides a platform for discussing digital government and digital society topics, such as open data, transparent governance, and the advancement of smart cities and sustainable urban development. Moreover, it promotes research on bridging the digital divide, leveraging blockchain for government services, and enhancing citizen engagement in the digital age. By fostering discussions on the role of artificial intelligence in public administration and the importance of cybersecurity and privacy in digital government, the section aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and insights.
