The AAFP is excited to bring back its three-day virtual live CE event: Spring into Feline Medicine. Join expert speakers as they present a variety of feline topics in a live format. Attendees can earn 13.5 RACE-approved CE credits (agenda is still being finalized). The content will be presented over three days and AAFP Members will receive an exclusive discount. The live presentations are spread out and on different days of the week to allow for work schedule flexibility. The sessions will be live but will be made available on-demand afterward through December 31, allowing attendees to watch and earn CE credit even if they can't attend live.
The topics will include kitten visits, inter-cat conflict, litter box management, interpreting dental radiographs, renal proteinuria, hospice and palliative care, the itchy cat, ionized calcium, URI, CKD, and more. Additional details and information on the sessions, speakers, registration, and the agenda will be posted when they are confirmed.
An agenda with speakers and sessions will be available in early February. Online registration will open in mid-February.
The AAFP is excited to announce this year’s annual conference theme, Enriching Feline Care & the Veterinary Experience. When we think about being Cat Friendly, we often think of handling and interactions with cats, however much of Cat Friendly is about elevating the standard of medical and surgical care that cats receive. While the conference will cover aspects of the environment, interactions, techniques, and educating caregivers, it will also cover many medical topics. This enables even the most experienced participant to stay current and up-to-date on feline medicine topics. No matter what your role in the practice or your level of experience with cats, this will be a conference that allows everyone to increase their feline knowledge in order to continue to elevate the standard of care for cats.
