EACR-Boehringer Ingelheim Drugging and Regulating the MAP Kinase Pathway
11 Feb 2025 - 12 Feb 2025 • Online, Any Location (virtual event)
Organizer:
The European Association for Cancer Research and Boehringer Ingelheim
Abstract:
We return to this topic for its second edition to focus on the basic and clinical aspects of the regulation of the Mitogen Activated Protein Kinase (MAPK) pathway, one of the most commonly mutated signalling pathways in human cancers. The programme will include new insights about the mechanisms of action of the new generation of pan-RAS inhibitors and rational combination therapies.

EACR Systemic Consequences of Cancer: Cancer as a Whole-body Disease
25 Feb 2025 - 26 Feb 2025 • Online, Any Location (virtual event)
Organizer:
The European Association for Cancer Research (EACR)
Abstract:
This meeting will delve into the profound consequences cancer can have on the body’s usual functions, and the underlying mechanisms behind these systemic effects. The ultimate goal is to explore how we might manipulate these mechanisms to develop more effective cancer treatments and improve the quality of life of patients with advanced cancer. We’ll be covering a wide range of topics including alterations in peripheral tissue function and the metabolic and inflammatory changes they induce, immune system performance, and cancer cachexia. This conference will be relevant for anyone with an interest in cancer biology, inter-organ communication, the role of cytokines, chemokines, and hormones in cancer, as well as cancer-induced changes in behaviour and metabolism.

Join us online on 25 and 26 February to learn more about this fascinating topic! Submit your abstract before 13 January and register before 03 February to secure your place.
