Algebra and representation theory have been at the forefront of mathematical research for the last century, attracting numerous Fields Medalists and producing groundbreaking results. The impact of these developments extends beyond pure mathematics, with direct implications in fields such as quantum mechanics, solid-state physics, material science, and dynamical systems. For instance, representation theory has led to the development of new algorithms for quantum computing, which have the potential to revolutionize computing and information processing.

To continue the advancement of these fields, the 2023 International Algebra Conference in the Philippines (IACP) aims to provide a platform for faculty, graduate students, and young researchers to learn about the latest concepts and developments in the field. By bringing together international experts, the conference will enhance the visibility of the algebra community in the Philippines and foster collaboration and knowledge-sharing. In particular, young researchers will have the opportunity to present their current research and receive feedback from leading experts in the field.
