We are excited to announce the 2025 IEEE the 8th International Conference on Computer and Communication Engineering Technology (CCET 2025), which will be held in Beijing from August 15th to 17th, 2025. The event is mainly sponsored by North China University of Technology, co-hosted by University of Science and Technology Beijing, and hosted by School of Information Science and Technology, North China University of Technology.

Fourth NEA Stakeholder Involvement Workshop on Optimisation in Decision Making: From Insight to Action

Abstract:
The NEA Stakeholder Involvement Workshops (SIWS) are known for fostering active dialogue and collaboration amongst diverse stakeholders. The NEA recognises the importance of continuing its work on stakeholder involvement, which is a key topic, as outlined in its Strategic Plan 2023-2028, in this regard, setting the stage for the fourth edition of the NEA SIWS. With the establishment of the NEA High-Level Group on Stakeholder Engagement, Trust, Transparency and Social Sciences (HLG-SET), which was launched to engage at the senior policy level and cultivate a deeper understanding of the relations between the nuclear sector and civil society, there is an opportunity to maintain momentum and foster collaboration across a diverse group of stakeholders. Synergies between the expertise and knowledge of these two groups will be essential in organising the fourth edition of the workshop.

Abstract:
Unter dem Motto „Welten verbinden“ verfolgt der Kongress mehrere Ziele: Er möchte Gemeinschaft schaffen und das gegenseitige Verständnis sowie die Solidarität zwischen Menschen mit und ohne Behinderung fördern. Ein weiterer Schwerpunkt liegt darauf, verschiedene Lebensbereiche wie Familie, Schule, Beruf und Freizeit durch den Einsatz von UK zu verknüpfen und die aktive Teilhabe zu unterstützen.

Zudem wird der Kongress die Integration verschiedener Kommunikationsmittel und -formen in den Fokus stellen, einschließlich elektronischer und nicht-elektronischer Hilfsmittel. Der Austausch von Erkenntnissen aus verschiedenen Fachrichtungen wie Neurolinguistik, Sprachtherapie und Informatik soll die UK bereichern und weiterentwickeln. Ein weiteres Ziel ist es, die internationale Vernetzung zu fördern, indem UK-Entwicklungen und -Forschungen in verschiedenen Ländern miteinander geteilt werden. Auch der Umgang mit Mehrsprachigkeit und die Rolle von UK in multikulturellen Kontexten werden thematisiert.

Nuclear Risk Communication Training Course 2025 Edition

Abstract:
Following the success of the fourth edition of the Nuclear Risk Communication Training Course (RCTC), the NEA will host the 2025 edition in Bucharest, Romania, in partnership with the National Commission for Nuclear Activities Control (CNCAN) and the Nuclear Agency for Radioactive Waste (ANDR) from 17 to 20 November 2025. An optional site tour will take place on 21 November 2025. This training course will focus on communicating risk in day-to-day contexts, aiming to improve the effectiveness of risk communication and enhancing public understanding related to nuclear and radiological risk. Over the course of four days, participants will engage with communication experts and technical professionals from nuclear energy organisations to learn the fundamentals of risk communication.
