Research related to scientific understanding of 3D information display and perception, technological innovation on 3D image acquisition or display methods, and task-specific design and applications of 3D acquisition or display technology is of particular interest. Adaptive Optics technology has many applications and this Topical Meeting looks at the multi-disciplinary aspects with an emphasis on investigating the commonality and possible synergies between the adaptive optics methods developed and used by various communities pursuing different applications. This meeting concentrating on analysis, methods and systems and will focus on AO technology across multiple applications including ophthalmology, vision science, microscopy, astronomy, high energy beam control, and beam propagation. Topics include AO systems/component technologies, wavefront correction optics, control algorithms, imaging through scattering and turbid media, and signal processing used in AO implementations as well as limitations and novel applications.

Developed spectroscopic technologies with applications across industries as well as new, cutting-edge technologies in transition from development to industrial settings are encouraged. Specific areas of interest include quality control, incoming materials inspection, uses in food processing and agribusiness, and uses during product manufacture, to name a few. The conference has a focus on applications with broad reach in major markets, demonstrating the utility of a variety of spectroscopic techniques, from absorbance / reflectance / transmission, to established methods such as Raman, LIBS, FTIR, Terahertz spectroscopy, and mass spectroscopy. Fusion of multiple methods (e.g. transflection, hyperspectral LIDAR, LIBS-Raman) and machine learning calibration methods are also of interest. Examples and best practices for technology adoption are encouraged.
