DESY in Hamburg (Germany)

The UFDIM conference at DESY in Hamburg (Germany) focuses on new techniques for imaging the dynamics of matter on ultrafast timescales, from femtoseconds to attoseconds. We have organized sessions on the applications of ultrafast dynamic imaging in biological, chemical and material systems as well as session on electronic dynamics and emerging opportunities. A special emphasis lies on the applications of new sources, including X-ray free-electron lasers, high-harmonic sources, few-cycle laser pulses, and ultrashort electron pulses. This conference is the seventh in a row after previous conferences held in London (2006), Ischia (2009), Banff (2012), Grindelwald (2015), Crete (2018), Potsdam (online only, 2021). The conference will host invited talks and contributed posters.

LEAPS – the League of European Accelerator-based Photon Sources

Hosted biennially, the International Conference on Research Infrastructures is the major professional forum for the global research infrastructure community. ICRI 2024 will bring together policymakers, research institution leaders, facility operators, users and researchers, to discuss pressing topics of interest, trends and challenges facing research infrastructures around the world. ICRI 2024 will be hosted in the beautiful city of Brisbane (Meanjin in Aboriginal language), the capital of the state of Queensland in Australia, traditionally owned by the Turrbal and Jagera People. With a population of 2.52 million, Brisbane is Australia’s third largest city and is situated in the southeastern coastal region of Queensland.

With the series of annual user meetings we bring together our user community to intensify scientific exchange and stimulating new collaborations. The meetings will provide an overview of the many exciting and inspiring research results obtained at our facility in the past year. Plenary talks, discussions, a public lecture and a poster session will provide vast possibilities of information and discussion. The bestowals of the 'Prizes for Young Scientists' donated by the Freundeskreis Helmholtz-Zentrum Berlin e.V. (FHZB) are traditional highlights of the user meetings.

iCT 2025 will include state-of-the-art industry talks and an attractive scientific program comprising plenary talks as well as oral and poster presentations of peer-reviewed papers. The iCT 2025 edition’s program will feature keynote talks presented by world-renowned imaging scientists in computed tomography. We look forward to seeing the creativity and innovation that participants will bring to this exciting event.

European Synchrotron Radiation Facility

Whether you're a seasoned ESRF user or a newcomer, the tutorials of the first day are designed to enhance your understanding and utilisation of the facility's cutting-edge tools and techniques. The plenary session on the second day of the meeting will feature thought leaders and pioneers in synchrotron radiation science, sharing their latest discoveries and future directions. These talks will not only inspire but also provide a platform for discussing the significant impact of synchrotron research on important scientific fields. And finally, the User Dedicated Microsymposia (UDM), on the third day, are tailored to specific research areas, offering a dive into specialised topics and an opportunity for users to present their own results in these areas. These sessions facilitate networking, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among researchers with shared interests and challenges.

The fourth International Conference on Radiation and Applications (ICRAA'4) is jointly organized by the Faculty of Physics of University of Sciences and Technologies Houari-Boumediene (USTHB) and the Algerian Atomic Energy Commission (COMENA)

After the success of the previous editions (2017, 2019 and 2022) of the International Conference on Radiation and Applications (ICRAA), here we are again for the fourth edition (ICRAA’4), with a great ambition and more challenges. The main goal of ICRAA’4 is to exchange and share the latest research findings in all aspects of radiation physics with their peers from around the world and foster new connections that strengthen research and development activities.
