The aim of this workshop is to provide a platform for oxide semiconductor researchers from all over the world from academia and industry to present their latest research results, communicate new ideas with colleague’s face to face, and find partners for future collaboration. The workshop will connect the latest research of academia with industry focus and interest. The highlight of the meeting is the latest developments in oxide semiconductors and transparent conducting oxides such as Ga2O3, ZnO, SnO, SrTiO3, etc. and their alloys, covering materials and devices.

Held every three years, Optica OIC — Optical Interference Coatings Conference, has served for the past four decades as the premier conference on the topic of optical interference coatings. OIC covers all aspects of optical coatings, including fundamental research on coating design theory, materials, deposition methods, characterization technologies and applications in electronic displays, optical communication, high power and ultra-fast lasers, sensing, solar cells, low-emissivity coatings, optical instruments and space. The conference consists of five days of oral and poster presentations. None of the sessions are held in parallel, so attendees can listen to a short presentation on every paper and then choose to visit the posters of greatest interest. Optical design and fabrication play an ever-increasing role in our modern society as more applications for optics are developed, especially in the areas of imaging, sensing and illumination systems. Of particular interest is the ability to utilize modern design tools to reduce cost, augment manufacturability and enhance system performance. New materials and unprecedented capabilities to create and measure precise aspheric and freeform optical surfaces have created a whole new design space for imaging, while new computational tools have allowed more complex systems to be both designed and fabricated. These capabilities have extended to micro-optics, head-mounted displays and large optical systems. Hot topics for this congress include the fabrication of optics by lasers, additive manufacturing of optical components, the latest freeform design tools for illumination optics design and fabrication, micro-optics and the fabrication and use of optics from new materials, including the use of metasurfaces and other flat optical component techniques in advanced optical systems.
