2021 Snowmass Summer Study
11 jul 2021 - 20 jul 2021 • Seattle, WA, États-Unis
Division of Particles and Fields (DPF) of the American Physical Society.
The Particle Physics Community Planning Exercise (a.k.a. “Snowmass”) is organized by the Division of Particles and Fields (DPF) of the American Physical Society. Snowmass is a scientific study. It provides an opportunity for the entire particle physics community to come together to identify and document a scientific vision for the future of particle physics in the U.S. and its international partners. The P5 (Particle Physics Project Prioritization Panel) will take the scientific input from Snowmass and develop a strategic plan for U.S. particle physics that can be executed over a 10 year timescale, in the context of a 20-year global vision for the field.

TAU2021 — 16th International Workshop on Tau Lepton Physics
26 sep 2021 - 01 oct 2021 • Bloomington, Indiana, États-Unis
Indiana University
TAU2021 is the 16th International Workshop on Tau Lepton Physics in the series devoted to the physics of the tau lepton and its associated neutrino. The goal of the workshop is to bring theorists and experimentalists together to discuss recent progress in the field. Latest results from e+e- colliders (Belle II, BESIII experiments), the proton-proton colliders (ATLAS, CMS and LHCb experiments), g-2 and the neutrino experiments (DUNE, MINOS, etc.) will be presented. Properties of the tau lepton, as well as methods of using tau leptons as a probe for new physics, will be discussed, along with a review of future experimental projects.

ICFN7 — 7th International Conference on "Fission and Properties of Neutron-Rich Nuclei"
31 oct 2021 - 06 nov 2021 • Sanibel Island, FL, États-Unis
The conference is sponsored by the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory (NSCL) and the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams (FRIB), Vanderbilt University, and Los Alamos National Laboratory.
CFN7 is the continuation of a long series of topical conferences on fission and properties of neutron-rich nuclei that started in 1997. The scope of ICFN7 will be similar to that of the previous ones, held in Scotland, and Sanibel Island in US. Invited and contributed speakers will present recent results of theoretical and experimental studies and future prospects.

Opportunities and Challenges in Few-Body Physics: Unitarity and Beyond
23 mai 2022 - 26 mai 2022 • Santa Barbara, États-Unis
UC Santa Barbara, Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics (KITP)
This conference will bring together a diverse set of scientists interested in the broad topic of few-body physics, providing a snapshot of the current status of few-body physics near unitarity, where the two-body scattering length is the largest length scale in the problem. Successes and open challenges in the area of atomic and nuclear physics, which are--despite the vastly different length and energy scales--intimately linked through, e.g., the three-body Efimov effect, will be highlighted. A major objective is to provide a platform for cross-fertilization between theory and experiment as well as between different research areas (such as nuclear, atomic, molecular, condensed matter, high-energy, and mathematical physics), with universality and its implied organizing principles as a unifying connection.
