NPA-X — Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics X
05 Sep 2022 - 09 Sep 2022 • CERN, Geneva, Switzerland
The conference series is supported by the Nuclear Physics Division of the European Physical Society. NPA-X is jointly organized by the n_TOF and ISOLDE Collaborations at CERN.
Every two years the Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics Conference brings together researchers from a multi-disciplinary community of experimental and theoretical nuclear physicists, astronomers, astrophysicists and cosmo-chemists to discuss the current challenges of these exciting and fast developing research fields.

INTDS 2022 — 30th Conference of the International Nuclear Target Development Society
25 Sep 2022 - 30 Sep 2022 • Paul Scherrer Institut Villigen PSI, Switzerland
Despite the importance of beam facilities, detectors and elaborated data analysis, the target is one of the indispensable components in scientific experiments aimed to investigate nuclear reactions. Targets play also an important role for the performance of large research facilities for applied and basic research, for instance spallation neutron sources. Correspondingly, there is a strong influence of the target quality on the quality of the final experimental result. The focus of this conference series is the research and development of techniques for the production and characterization of targets and target-related material for a broad range of applications. Performed every second year, the conference is aimed to bring together target makers from all over the world to report about newest developments, share their knowledge, build up synergies for efficient use of the available resources and foster their networks.

PSI2022 — 6th workshop on "Physics of fundamental Symmetries and Interactions"
16 Oct 2022 - 21 Oct 2022 • Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, Switzerland
Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI)
The workshop focuses on the physics at the low energy, high precision frontier without neglecting complementary approaches. It aims at highlighting present activities and future developments. The Paul Scherrer Institut (PSI) itself offers unique opportunities for experiments in this realm: it houses the world's most powerful proton cyclotron and the highest intensity low momentum pion and muon beams and the new ultracold neutron source.
