WONP 2022 — Workshop on Nuclear Physics

Abstract:
The WONP is among the key Cuban scientific meetings dealing with the peaceful applications of nuclear techniques in several domains of society. These Symposia provide an opportunity for the international scientific community to meet outstanding researchers and to discuss current trends and tasks in several areas of applied, nuclear-related fields. The International WONP had been initiated in 1994, and since 2005 has a bi-annual frequency. The 2019 WONP edition will be organized by the Instituto Superior de Ciencias y Tecnologías Avanzadas (InSTEC) in coordination with the Agencia de Energía Nuclear y Tecnologías de Avanzada (AENTA). The conference will be devoted to the presentation and discussion of original work involving current problems in various fields of applied and fundamental research.

We are pleased to announce that the 16th International Symposium on Origin of Matter and Evolution of Galaxies (OMEG16), which will be held at the Institute of Physics, Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology, 10 Dao Tan, Ba Dinh, Ha Noi, Viet Nam. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, OMEG16 has been rescheduled to 25 - 28 October 2022. The symposium will be organized in hybrid mode, on-site and online. OMEG16 belongs to a series of biannual symposium started in 1988, bringing together researchers and students from interdisciplinary fields of nuclear physics, particle physics, astronomy, astrophysics, earth and planetary physics to address and discuss various questions on the origin of matter and evolution of universe.

ATHIC 2023 — The 9th Asian Triangle Heavy-Ion Conference

ATHIC 2023 inherits the tradition of the previous conferences held first in Seoul in 2006 and continued in China, India, Japan, and South Korea. Many physicists from Asian countries have been actively working on both experimental and theoretical sides of heavy-ion collisions. ATHIC brings them together to discuss various exciting aspects of this field. We hope to have fruitful discussions among the participants and develop new ideas to press us forward in further understanding of hot and dense QCD matter.
