Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics is an exciting field with many highlights in recent years in observational astronomy, simulating astrophysics, experimental and theoretical nuclear physics. Therefore, training and interaction of young scientists, PhD students and postdocs, are important for further progress and expansion of this community. We are organizing a Summer School on "Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics" in connection to the International Conference on Nuclear Physics in Astrophysics XI. It will be held at Burghotel Stolpen, Germany, from September 8 (arrival) to 15 (departure or transit to the conference), 2024.

Topics will cover the different aspects of nuclear astrophysics: observational astronomy and gravitational waves, astrophysical modelling and simulations, and nuclear physics experiments and theory.

Depending on the reaction channel, direct determinations of neutron-induced reaction cross sections on stable and unstable isotopes for energies above 1 keV cross face different challenges. Neutron capture, neutron-induced fission, charged-particle production, elastic and inelastic scatterings are important and of interest for astrophysics and nuclear applications. With the existing neutron beam capabilities, available radioactive isotope productions, and ideas for future facilities, we want to discuss directions and possible solutions for current challenges in an informal and constructive atmosphere. In particular the usage of ion storage rings to investigate neutron-induced reactions will be a focus of the IReNA workshop.

The purpose of the meeting is to bring together experts and young researchers in the area of nuclear structure physics and nuclear astrophysics to discuss the current status of the field and to explore future directions, both in experiment and theory. With recent developments in instrumentation, theoretical tools and numerical simulations as well as significant progress in experiment and observation, the meeting is particularly timely. The aim is to cover a broad range of topics to elucidate synergies and identify areas of future progress. This should be especially beneficial to the younger participants of the meeting.

The Low Radioactivity Techniques (LRT) workshop series examines topics in low-radioactivity materials and techniques that are fundamental for quantum information science and rare-event searches, including dark matter, solar neutrinos, double-beta decay, long half-life phenomena and nuclear astrophysics. The workshop features updates from underground laboratories around the globe as well as the latest information regarding all aspects of low background detectors, techniques and assay programs in addition to recent developments in advanced machining and 3D printing using ultra-pure materials.

The nineteenth edition of the series "Selected Topics in Nuclear and Atomic Physics" will take place from October the 4th to October the 8th, 2024.
