Universality: Turbulence Across Vast Scales

Abstract:
The goal of the workshop is to bring together experts in turbulence from the perspectives of astrophysics, plasma physics, biology, mathematics, atmospheric sciences, and experimental design. We would like to promote an exchange of ideas, tools, and knowledge between different fields working on the still unsolved turbulence problem. The conference will include a mix of talks/lectures along with breakout sessions and discussion time.

Abstract:
The annual meetings are the most important events for the Physical Society of Taiwan (TPS). They provide a unique platform for physicists from Taiwan and the rest of the world to communicate their latest research results to a broad audience. In the past few years, the annual TPS meetings have attracted more than 2,000 participants each year.

There will be plenary talks delivered by distinguished speakers on the most exciting new developments and parallel section talks on progress in a broad range of research fields in pure and applied physics and physics education. There are also Topical Symposia on Bioimaging and biophysics, Quantum Computer and Quantum Communication, Emerging Energy Science, and Numerical Methods for Quantum Manybody Systems: Machine Learning and Physics. There will also be business meetings, outreach programs, and a meeting for the chairs of physics institutes in Taiwan.

Authors are solicited to contribute to the conference by submitting articles that illustrate research results, projects, surveying works and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in Physical sciences. Papers are requested to be submitted to facilitate the oral presentations as well as poster presentations. Authors are requested to send one-page abstract as well as the full length paper. Submission Deadline is 18.12.2019 with acceptance notification by 31.12.2019.
