Abstract:
The Working Party on Static Electricity in Industry of the European Federation of Chemical Engineering organizes the international conferences on electrostatics every four years. The succeeding International Conference on Electrostatics ELECTROSTATICS 2022 will be held at Wrocław, Poland, from 28 March to 01 April 2022. The objective of the conference is to encourage interaction between the academic and industrial workers, to provide an opportunity for discussions of the various topics at all levels of interest. The conference will also provide a forum for the exchange of latest knowledge and new ideas in the science and technology of electrostatics, as well as for discussion of electrostatics hazards and problems.

The IOP’s Dielectrics & Electrostatics Group is hosting its biennial Dielectrics conference from 27 – 29 April 2022 at the Institute of Physics, London, UK, to explore the ever-expanding area of dielectrics. The Dielectrics 2022 conference will run under the theme “From Fundamentals to Applications” to encourage a wide range of topics to be covered and scientists to participate. The conference is organised in four core topics, including Theory and Modelling of Dielectric Materials, Advanced Characterisation of Dielectric Materials, Dielectrics for Biological Applications, and Dielectrics for Electronic Devices. Contributions from both academia and industry are welcome covering areas in physics, chemistry, materials science, engineering and technology.
