Institute of Physics (IOP)
The IOP’s Dielectrics and Electrostatics Group is hosting its biennial Dielectrics conference from 14th-16th April 2021 at the Institute of Physics, London, UK, to explore the ever-expanding area of dielectrics. The Dielectrics 2021 conference will run under the theme “From Fundamentals to Applications” to encourage a wide range of topics to be covered and scientists to participate. The conference is organised in four core topics, including Theory and Modelling of Dielectric Materials, Advanced Characterisation of Dielectric Materials, Dielectrics for Biological Applications, and Dielectrics for Electronic Devices. Contributions from both academia and industry are welcome covering areas in physicis, chemistry, materials science, engineering and technology.
IVEC 2021 — 22nd International Conference on Vacuum Electronics
28 Apr 2021 - 30 Apr 2021 • Virtual Event, Netherlands
Organized and sponsored by the European Space Agency (ESA) with the technical co-sponsorship of the IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS).
IVEC 2021 aims at being an international forum of information and technical discussion between the various players in the field of vacuum electronics: designers, researchers, young and experienced engineers, scientists, device users, manufacturers, operators, government/institutions, academics and of course, our valuable students.
A special highlight of IVEC 2021 will be the introduction of a new topic, focused on nano-vacuum electronics.

2021 Annual Meeting of the Electrostatics Society of America
14 Jun 2021 - 16 Jun 2021 • Norman, Oklahoma, United States
SRF 2021 — 2021 International and Virtual Conference on Radio Frequency Superconductivity
28 Jun 2021 - 02 Jul 2021 • Virtual, United States
A virtual conference will have some advantages over an in-person conference. We will work to maximize the benefits of the virtual format. The conference will include invited oral talks by video-conference (in a format similar to IPAC 2020 and Linac 2020), and several virtual reality poster sessions (in a format similar to the 2020 Neutrino Physics and Astrophysics Conference hosted by Fermilab). With the need to accommodate different time zones, the sessions will be limited to 4 hours per day (time zone info below). A session for “virtual lab tours” is considered at the end of the conference, with the possibility for participants to learn about their choice of several labs around the world. Best student poster prize and best young researcher presentation prize are also planned. In addition, a tutorial program by video-conference is planned in the week preceding the conference.
OSA Second Annual OSA 5G Summit
13 Jul 2021 - 14 Jul 2021 • Washington, District of Columbia, United States
The Optical Society (OSA)
The Optical Society’s Second Annual 5G Summit in Washington, D.C., is a two-day program providing an overview of the entire 5G Ecosystem. This event is designed to examine key critical 5G technologies that will become core features with many businesses. 5G technologies promise to offer increased network speeds, expanded interactivity on the network, much lower latency, and provide vastly elevated conductivity.
Topics will include 5G Deployments & Use Cases, Radio Technology, Access Network Evolution and Open RAN, Edge Computing, Virtualization & Network Slicing, Transport Network Evolution in the Dawn of 5G, Scalability of 5G Deployment, Optical Access and Aggregation Networks, and Optical Transceivers & Photonic Devices for 5G.
