13th International Spring Seminar on Nuclear Physics Perspectives and Challenges in Nuclear Structure after 70 Years of Shell Model
15 May 2022 - 20 May 2022 • Sant'Angelo d'Ischia, Italy
This Seminar is the thirteenth in a series of topical meetings started in 1986 on the initiative of Aldo Covello. The main aim of the Seminar is to focus on the progress made in recent years from both a theoretical and experimental point of view as well as on the role that nuclear structure may play in the context of fundamental physics. The Seminar will maintain the general spirit and intent of the earlier meetings of this series by providing to a group of researchers the opportunity to discuss their current work and confront their opinions.
Advanced methods for nuclear structure studies, Nuclear structures studies through RIB experiments, Nuclear structure & fundamental physics, Special topics

TW2022 — THe 13th Torino Workshop on AGB stars
19 Jun 2022 - 24 Jun 2022 • Perugia, Italy
University of Perugia, Dept of Physics and Geology and INFN sezione di Perugia
The Torino Workshops series started in Torino in 1995. Since then, 12 workshops have been held by various institutions around the world. Traditionally, the Torino Workshop focuses on the physics of asymptotic giant branch (AGB) stars and many related topics: stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis, observations (photometry, spectrometry, and asteroseismology), stellar winds, dust and presolar grain formation, galactic chemical evolution, theoretical and experimental nuclear astrophysics. The workshop will bring together experts, and friends, involved in these research fields to identify current key scientific questions and the possible ways to address them by interdisciplinary approaches. This meeting edition will celebrate Prof. Maurizio M. Busso on the occasion of his 70th birthday. Maurizio is among the founders of the Torino Workshop and during his career he has given important contributions to the study of AGB stars and related fields covered in the workshop.
AGB stars, nucleosynthesis, stellar evolution, stellar modelling, stellar spectroscopy and photometry, galactic chemical evolution, presolar grains and meteorites, nuclear astrophysics, nuclear reaction rates and cross sections
