15th µSR — 15th International Conference on Muon Spin Rotation, Relaxation and Resonance and Student Day
04 Jul 2021 - 09 Jul 2021 • Parma, Italy
Science and Technology Campus, University of Parma
The meeting is being jointly organised by the muon group at the University of Parma in Italy and the ISIS muon group at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory in the UK. It will cover all aspects of the use of muon spectroscopy in condensed matter, materials and molecular sciences, while also considering applications of muons in other areas, such as nuclear physics, cultural heritage and the study of single event failures arising from the irradiation of microelectronics. The meeting will be preceded by a Student Day.
DEMP 2021 — Partial Differential Equations of Mathematical Physics and Applications
13 Sep 2021 - 17 Sep 2021 • Lake Como, Italy
Lake Como School of Advanced Studies
The event aims to gather experts from different fields in Mathematics and Engineering, all having the common goal of modeling real phenomena through nonlinear partial differential equations. The main goal is to give a broad and interdisciplinary overview about some of the most challenging research issues in the field, also aiming to encourage interaction, discussions and collaborations among researchers from a wide scientific area, including Nonlinear Analysis, Differential Equations, Dynamical Systems and Mathematical Physics, with applications to Engineering. A particular attention will be devoted to fluid mechanics and to the motion of suspension bridges.
NRM2022 — 16th Varenna Conference on Nuclear Reaction Mechanisms
12 Jun 2022 - 17 Jun 2022 • Varenna, Italy
The 16th Varenna Conference on Nuclear Reaction Mechanisms (NRM2022) will take place in the usual Villa Monastero venue (Varenna, Italy) on June 12-17, 2022, and will be dedicated to Professor Horst Lenske.
