CCFES2020 — Cracow Colloquium on f-electron systems 2020
28 Jun 2020 - 01 Jul 2020 • Cracow, Poland
Organizer:
Pedagogical University of Cracow, Faculty of Mathematics-Physics-Techniques and Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics.
Abstract:
CCFES2020 focuses on the electronic structure, magnetism and superconductivity of f-electron systems (both lanthanides and actinides). It will cover both theoretical and experimental aspects. The colloquium will be also devoted to the field of hydrides of f-metal based materials and their technical application. Relevant contributions from the related research topics (e.g. transition metals) can also be included. To encourage the participation of students, a low student fee is envisaged. Besides, a special session (“the scientific session for young scientists”) will be organized within CCFES2020 program. It gives the opportunity for graduate and Ph.D. students to present the results obtained in the course of their studies.

SCTE 2020 — 22nd International Conference on Solid Compounds of Transition Elements 2020
05 Jul 2020 - 10 Jul 2020 • Wrocław, Poland
Abstract:
The SCTE conferences are a traditional forum for reporting novel discoveries in solid state chemistry and physics of compounds and materials based on d- and f-electron elements, including (but not limited to) crystal structure, chemical bonding and crystal chemistry as well as physical (magnetic, transport and spectroscopic) properties of various families of intermetallics (hydrides, borides, carbides, silicides, pnictides, chalcogenides, oxides, halides). Both fundamental and applied aspects of the research are covered. Presentations will consists of plenary, invited and contributed talks, and poster sessions. The SCTE 2020 in Wrocław will be another meeting from that series after the congresses organized previously in Vienna (2018), Zaragossa (2016), Genoa (2014), Lisboa (2012), Annecy (2010), Dresden (2008) and Cracow (2006). The conference will be held at the Congress Center of the Wrocław University of Science and Technology in a charming, 1000-year-old city of Wrocław in Poland, in the vicinity of the Old Town - the historic city center with numerous shopping and entertainment possibilities

15th International Conference on ELECTRICAL AND RELATED PROPERTIES OF ORGANIC SOLIDS
12 Jul 2020 - 16 Jul 2020 • Gdańsk, Poland
Organizer:
Lodz University of Technology and Gdańsk University of Technology
Abstract:
ERPOS, initiated in Poland in 1974, is one of the longest-running international conference series in the field of organic electronics. It has been organized every three years since 1996, every second time in Poland. In 2020, Gdańsk will have the privilege of hosting the forthcoming 15th edition of the ERPOS conference and its Guests from all over the world. Since the beginning of the series, the field of organic electronics, that merges chemical, physical, biological, and technical sciences, has changed remarkably. As a result of this rapid progress, the scope of the ERPOS conference, covering fundamentals as well as applications, has been extended, and it is no longer limited to organic solids.

Email: erpos2020@pg.edu.pl
Topics:
The conference welcomes submissions on any aspect of electrical and optical properties of organic materials, such as: • Photophysics and charge transport • Organic light-emitting diodes and lasers • Organic and perovskite photovoltaics • Transistors and molecular electronics • Organic bioelectronics and biophotonics • Organic nonlinear optics and nanophotonics • Conducting and semiconducting organic and carbon materials, such as electronic polymers, molecular materials, and novel carbon architectures
