Dear Researchers, Plasma Physics Enthusiasts, Let us invite you to take part in the 16th Kudowa Summer School "Towards Fusion Energy" organized by the Institute of Plasma Physics and Laser Microfusion in Kudowa-Zdrój, Poland, between the 6th and 10th of June 2022. The leitmotif of this year's edition is novel plasma diagnostics techniques. As you might be aware of, the School aims to provide courses on various aspects of fusion energy, plasma experiments and technology for young scientists from various countries.

2022 Siegman International School on Lasers

The Siegman International School is a week-long program that exposes students to in-depth learning of lasers and their applications from internationally recognized academic and industry leaders in the field. The Siegman International School on Lasers covers all aspects of lasers and photonics. Each summer up to 100 graduate students are invited to participate in a week-long program to learn from pioneering laser researchers and experts from leading laser companies, highly-regarded professors and fellow students. Attendees are asked to present their own research, which provides valuable experience in building exposure for their work all while building lifelong colleagues and friends.

Cosmology School: Introduction to cosmology

Cosmology School is addressed to young astronomers and physicists interested in observational cosmology. It involves lectures, workshops and student sessions. The lectures will cover such topics as: large-scale structure of the Universe, dark matter and dark energy, cosmic web, galaxy formation and evolution, galaxy surveys and astronomical observations, computer simulations, gravitational waves and multi-messenger astronomy. During the workshops, the participants will have the opportunity to get a practical knowledge of: numerical simulations, SED fitting, VO tools, TOPCAT and Aladin, ADQL, VO in cosmology. The School is intended for undergraduate, MSc and PhD students, as well as young postdoctoral researchers.

JEMS2022 — The Joint European Magnetic Symposia

The Joint European Magnetic Symposia are the most important and comprehensive conference on magnetism in Europe. JEMS focuses on a broad range of topics embracing applicative and fundamental aspects of magnetism, as well as novel magnetic materials. Presentations consist of plenary, semi-plenary, and contributed talks, complemented by poster sessions. A number of invited speakers give lectures on important recent advances in the field. The attendance of young students is welcome.
